A very warm welcome!

I am so excited to be photographing this milestone!

Welcome to my booked senior session client page. Over the next few days/weeks I will be preparing for your session. That means: keeping my gear tuned up, continuing to shoot daily to hone my skills, and answering any questions you may have! Below I am highlighting some information that may be helpful for you as you prepare for your senior session.

XO, Desiree

Start to think about your location

Do you have a special spot in mind?

Do you picture the beach or a field?

Would you like photos on your high school or college campus?

Begin planning your outfits

I recommend bringing 2-3:

1 casual

1 formal

cap + gown

For casual outfits, consider a shirt or sweatshirt that has the name of the school or college you are graduating from, or will be attending in the fall

For formal outfits, I recommend a dress for girls and a collared shirt with a sports coat for boys

Think about what you want me to capture

What are your must-have photos?

What's most important to you or your family for this senior session?

If you've chosen to do your session with a few friends, what would you like captured as a group?

Yay! The day of your session has arrived. We can sometimes feel ultra-stressed on the day of, which is completely understandable. It's not always a comfortable thing to be in front of the camera by yourself. My job is to make you feel as comfortable and like yourself as possible! I want to bring out YOUR unique personality so I can capture who you are right now as a graduate.

The calmer you are, the more comfortable you will be, and the more your images will reflect who you are as an individual.

  • Your session is scheduled according to sunrise or sunset times, so please be ready to go at your scheduled start time! This may mean leaving earlier than you think to account for outfits changes, traffic, etc.

  • I recommend making your senior session the main event of the day. If at all possible, try to avoid coming straight from school or baseball practice.

  • If you have outfit changes that require privacy, I recommend bringing a large blanket and having a parent or trusted friend hold it around you while you change. There might not be a bathroom at the location of your session.
