For most of the country, winter comes with rain, wind, and snow, but for those of us in San Diego, winter just means slightly cooler weather. As a San Diego family photographer, I love the fact that I can have winter beach sessions year round. This north county winter beach session did not disappoint-clear skies, beautiful weather, and a gorgeous sunset!
Carlsbad Winter Beach Session
The beach is a great place to have a winter family session. There are less crowds than in the summer which makes it great for parents with young kids. As a photographer, I love having the beach to myself. It makes it easier to pose families without having to worry about dodging crowds behind them.
I may be biased, but winter sunsets are some of the best here in San Diego! May gray and June gloom bring lots of clouds but January and February often have the most clear blue skies and epic sunsets.
This family was so fun to capture! Big brothers were full of energy and personality yet soft and sweet with their baby sister.
